Task
MyNetwork Poland faced the challenge of development of a training which in an attractive and accessible form would promote acquisition of extensive information on legal regulations within the scope of prevention of money laundering practices.
A training had to be created that would be based on an original idea, that through a surprising and compelling form (illustrations, animations, original texts - dialogues between the main characters) would stimulate the participant emotionally, thus increasing efficiency of learning.
Solution
The training was based on an original idea - the plot unfolds within a criminal and banking environment, the main characters (virtual agents) are a mafia boss, who organized a meeting with his affiliates and a bank employee, explaining methods for counteracting organized crime.
Cohesive design of presentation - colors, drawing style, and animation - enabled recreation in the training of the atmosphere so well known from gangster movies - the atmosphere of the 1920s.
The course featured numerous graphic designs, schemes, and charts that were changing according to actions undertaken by the participant.
Such a solution is especially valuable for presentation of difficult parts of material and efficiently facilitates learning, especially for the kinesthetics. The methodology of the training is based on independent study of the pre-selected material by participants combined with simultaneous verification of their progress by means of a system of quizzes, hints, and tests.
Outcomes
The Project Team of MyNetwork Poland, in close cooperation with specialists from Bank BPH, successfully developed a training that in a user-friendly way enabled memorization and understanding of difficult chunks of material. The interactive solutions applied present to the participant of the training cause and effect relations and promote development of skills for handling typical and problematic situations.
