Task To create a highly educational training that could increase tourists' safety in mountains. Solution Training that is easily accessible via Internet, implemented and managed through LMS MyLearning. Client Górskie Ochotnicze Pogotowie Ratunkowe (GOPR - Mountain Voluntary Rescue Team) is an organization with many years of glorious tradition of helping people endangered in mountains, preventing mountain accidents and preserving the wildlife. GOPR functions in seven Regional Groups - from Karkonosze to Bieszczady. Task Experiences of GOPR Rescuers in spreading knowledge on mountain safety and project creators' own observations became an inspiration for "Keep safe in mountains!" training for youth. In consequence plan of an e-training was developed to become an electronic version of trainings run by rescuers in traditional way. One of the main reasons standing behind the safety-oriented project was a large number of mountain accidents involving tourists Solution Development of the training began with precise determining of its target group and goals. Basing on quantitive data from past few years concerning GOPR missions and expeditions it was determined that representatives of 11-30 age group participated in over 62,5% accidents , so decision has been made to target the training to this group. Project was designed to spread - in possibly most attractive way - the knowledge in three fields: 1) first aid, 2) prophylactics - how to prepare for mountain excursion and avoid danger and 3) survival in extreme situations. Training that consists of over 100 screens explains in entertaining way how to avoid danger in mountains and how to behave when accident happens. Gaining knowledge is enhanced by interesting quizzes and interactive elements. Whole training has been installed on advanced LMS platform MyLearning, which allows managing participants and their results easy. Outcomes Due to high educational values, "Keep safe in mountains!" training has been acknowledged by Ministry of National Education and Sports as an official didactic tool for general and health-related education. What proves popularity of the training - conducted under honorary patronage of Spouse of President of Poland and Minister of National Education? Fact that during first few months over 6 000 participated in the training and more than 2 000 of them finished it. At this moment training is waiting for official recommendation from IKAR - organization of mountain rescue teams from all over the world.
