Development of IT & Telecom in local governments
MyNetwork Polska sponsors a seminar:
Development of IT & Telecom based on public-private partnership in Local Governments in context of Poland’s integration with EU.
We have an honor to invite you to Conference Center of Ministry of National Defense in Warsaw, where nationwide seminar under honorary patronage of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration Mr. Józef Oleksy will be held on April 2, 2004. Seminar will be devoted to question of IT&Telecom development in Local Governments.
Goal of seminar is to present new approach to IT and telecommunication development in Local Governments – approach based on public-private partnership policy. Seminar is dedicated to managing staff of Polish administrative units of different levels as well as IT& telecom specialists from those institutions. Seminar will be a great opportunity for local governments’ representatives to familiarize with model process of IT and telecom applications development basing on funds and other resources provided through public-private partnership. This subject will be presented in perspective of governmental and parliament’s initiatives in that area. Various sources of funding for IT development in local administration also will be presented.
Speeches will be given by central and local administration representatives as well as academics, recognized experts in field of theory and practice, who will introduce current state of knowledge and advice on applying existing solutions in most profitable, optimal way. Because of up-to-date character of discussed issues and modern form of their presentation, seminar will be attended by about 300 participants – specialists and local officials. Those who cannot take part in Seminar personally will have an opportunity to see it live on Internet. During first intermission Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Józef Oleksy, seminar speakers, representatives of local and central authorities and IT companies will participate in press conference.

Seminar will take place on April 2, 2004 at 9:30 AM at Conference Centre of Ministry of National Defense.
