Launch of „Keep safe on the road!” training
Is it possible to use the Internet to reduce number of accidents on our roads? Can virtual tool increase our safety? The answer is yes – it is possible thanks to innovative "Keep safe on the road!" program. By visiting www.bezpiecznejdrogi.interia.pl address all drivers can improve their knowledge on traffic regulations and get to know handy tips on how to avoid danger on the Polish roads – all of this easily and at no cost.
Number of road accidents in Poland remains on a very high level for several years and rapidly growing number of cars and new drivers affects it negatively. More and more people get hurt and have serious material losses because of the accidents – it is caused by lack of knowledge on traffic regulations and first aid rules.
That is the reason of creating "Keep safe on the road!" e-training. It contains of sequence of attractively designed and moderated lessons, available on-line and offering intuitive acquisition of knowledge. Due to proper educational design and multimedia features the training offers a unique opportunity to educate large number of drivers and - as a consequence – reduce number of road accidents. The training development has been supported by many companies and institutions and it is a modern addition to prophylactic activities conducted by the Polish Police. It is very important, that the drivers decide to take part in the training on their own, recognizing its educational and entertaining values. It makes the results of the training long-lasting and benefiting exceptionally both participants of interactive training and other drivers on the roads.
"Keep safe on the road!" is another open e-training developed by MyNetwork Polska – a leader of Polish e-learning market.
"We hope that this open training will match the success of two prior ones, dedicated to European Union and mountain safety-related issues. We expect tens of thousands of participants – the number similar to that of ‘Keep safe in mountains’" – says Szymon Janicki, MyNetwork vice-president & head of e-learning.
