E-learning in US Pharmacia
US Pharmacia - the biggest pharmaceutical company in Poland producing over-the-counter medicines (APAP, Ibuprom, Gripex) has decided to implement an e-learning method. The first electronic training for employees was related to personal data protection.
E-learning is becoming increasingly popular - almost all financial institutions (banks, insurance companies etc.) as well as pharmaceutical companies use this method of distance learning. Another company that decided to make use of its potential is US Pharmacia - one of the leaders on the Polish pharmaceutical market employing over 300 people and specializing in over-the-counter medicines (APAP, Ibuprom, Gripex).
We've decided to implement the training in this innovative form as it seems that e-learning is an interesting alternative to traditional methods - we expect it will arouse our personnel's interest in the course, says Dorota Jab?o?ska, responsible for the project in US Pharmacia.
The training course was prepared and implemented by MyNetwork Polska, a company specializing in tailor-made training. Because of the special character of the source materials of the course and its quite difficult content, the project team had to prepare the training with the great emphasis on stimulating the participants. Animations, especially prepared for this project, as well as all interactive elements help to catch participants attention and make the communication more attractive, what considerably increases the training's educational value.
"Personal data protection training was a challenge for us we had to present difficult information in an engaging and interesting way. The training is based on an elaborate plot participants of the course watch an interactive film, during which they, together with the main character of the film, have to make themselves familiar with the rules of personal data protection, says Szymon Janicki, Vice President of the e-Learning Department in MyNetwork Polska.
