European Internet Academy launched
E-learning – learning via Internet – is a trend (and term) that makes really astounding career these days. Why? Because e-learning means popular and easy access to didactic materials enriched with attractive multimedia features – and it’s relatively cheaper when compared with traditional training methods. That is why not only companies educating their employees, but also NGOs and public institutions that address their message to wide audience make use of e-learning more and more often with every year.
European Internet Academy - launched officially on Wednesday, January 22, 2003 by head of parliamentary European Committee Mr. Józef Oleksy – is exactly training of this kind, offering all above-mentioned benefits.
European Internet Academy is an e-learning training that consists of twenty richly illustrated chapters, which – due to attractive graphics and easy-to-read content – should encourage teenagers to get familiar with European Union related topics: who founded it, which countries belong to it, what is its legislation and - of course - on what conditions can Poland join United Europe. Every person registering in Virtual Dean’s Office will be able to take part in the training.
European Internet Academy was created by MyNetwork Polska for Pro Europa Association. Academy is a second implementation of MyLearning platform – first took place when Internet Stock Game for Schools was developed for Chancellery of President of Poland and Warsaw Stock Exchange.
