LMS MyLearning Platform, LMS class (Learning Management System) authoring tool, is a multifunctional e-learning platform created in Java (J2EE, EJB) technology that cooperates with databases of Oracle, MS-SQL, and Postgre SQL. Thanks to the technology applied, scalability of the platform is practically unlimited. Implementation of the platform comes along with the guarantee of flexibility and scalability of the system from several hundred to tens of thousands users.
LMS MyLearning Platform, owing to its module-based structure, enables implementation that satisfies specified requirements in a highly precise way. The competitive edge of LMS MyLearning Platform consists in the possibility to personalize and customize, which guarantees and individual character of every implementation.
LMS MyLearning Platform complies with the major and most essential e-learning world standards - AICC and SCORM, therefore, it may be used, depending on the needs, together with any tools for training development - Macromedia, Authorware, Lectora Publisher, ReadyGo, ToolBook, etc.
LMS MyLearning Platform features unique solutions that enable minimization of the WAN/LAN traffic generated by heavy-load content of trainings. The Platform may be configured in such a way that heavy-load static content of trainings can be downloaded from servers within local networks, while communication with the Platform is maintained at the same time. The transfer of data between the Platform and the User becomes then limited to minimum quantities of information on User's progress in training. Heavy-load (often close to hundred mega bites in size) contents of trainings are downloaded from the closest local server. The Platform supports and optimizes the process of distribution of contents between content servers. The functionality described above proves particularly useful in networks of star typology, ex. branches of banks connected to central servers by means of free links. This solution minimizes the costs of data transfer, while improving User's comfort due to faster transfer of data.
Implementations of the LMS MyLearning Platform include the largest open e-learning trainings in Poland. The number of Platform Users has reached over 100 thousand.LMS MyLearning Platform has been applied so far in e-learning programs among others in Server Polska and Sanofi Aventis.
